Calculate HDMI bandwidth by multiplying the number of vertical pixels (plus Vblank), horizontal pixels (plus Hblank), bit depth per channel, and frame rate. HDMI bandwidth is more complicated when accounting for chroma subsampling and video compression. Remember that a calculator makes bandwidth calculation easy, but as the HDMI specification changes, this calculator is continuously being developed and may not display accurate results.
